storage area will choose which stacker to use. Material is fed onto the Stacker by a Tripper Car on the yard conveyor. A variety of alternative counterweight configurations and luffing systems can be added to stacker booms. A rope hoist or a hydraulic system is the lifting mechanism. The stacking method is programmed into the PLC of the stacker.
