Ship unloaders are available in a variety of styles. They are suitable for usage aboard ships ranging in size from 3,000 to 120,000 DWT (dead weight tonnes), whether they are mobile or fixed, powered by a cable reel or a diesel engine.<\/p>\n

The marine leg transports the bulk product from the ship’s hold in an entirely enclosed system. It moves inside the marine leg’s casing in a little column at a constant slow speed. This not only ensures that the product is handled delicately, reducing financial loss due to product breakage, but also lowers energy consumption and machine wear and tear. The bulk product can be loaded directly into road or rail cars after being unloaded or moved further downstream via conveying systems.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>
